15.02.2012 AVIALL, HELICOPTER SERVICE COMPANY SIGN AGREEMENT TO SUPPORT ROLLS-ROYCE M250 POWERED HELICOPTERS IN RUSSIA

Dallas, TX, February 13, 2012 -- Aviall Services, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, and Helicopter Service Company, JSC (HSC) of Moscow, Russia, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Russian Helicopters, JSC (Russian Helicopters, JSC is a subsidiary of UIC Oboronprom), have signed an agreement to support helicopters powered by Rolls-Royce M250 engines.

13.02.2012 RUSSIAN HELICOPTERS DISPLAY MI-171A2 IN THE USA AS FOLLOW-UP TO BESTSELLING MI-8/17

Dallas, TX, USA/12 February 2012 – Russian Helicopters, a subsidiary of Russian industry giant Oboronprom, presented its Mi-171A2 model at HeliExpo 2012 in Dallas, TX. The helicopter was displayed at booth number 3422. This is a heavily modernised and revamped version of the Mi-8/17, the Russian bestseller that ranks among the most popular helicopters in the world.

07.12.2011 RUSSIAN HELICOPTERS OPEN REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE IN VIETNAM

Hanoi, Vietnam / 7 December 2011 – Russian Helicopters industrial holding company, a subsidiary of United Industrial Corporation Oboronprom, have opened a representative office in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. One of the main goals of this opening is to gain access to broader markets, search for new partners and new cooperation modes in Southeast Asia and Australia.

05.12.2011 RUSSIAN KA-32A11BC CERTIFICATED IN BRAZIL

Sao Paolo, Barsil / 5 December 2011 – The Russian multi-role coaxial Ka-32A11BC helicopter was today granted a type certificate in Brazil. The certificate will allow the Ka-32A11BC operate on the Brazilian civil aviation market and perform firefighting, search and rescue, load-carrying missions, as well as handling special construction tasks in places inaccessible to traditional transport.

17.11.2011 NEW MI-34C1 HITS MIDDLE EAST COMMERCIAL HELICOPTER MARKET AND OBTAINS REGIONAL DISTRIBUTOR

Dubai, UAE / 17 November 2011 – Russian Helicopters, JSC, a subsidiary of UIC Oboronprom appointed Emirates Corporation Trading Agencies LLC as a regional distributor of the light single-engine helicopter Mi-34C1 in the Gulf countries. The Agreement was signed in Dubai, UAE, at the Dubai Airshow. The Agreement envisions marketing, sales and technical support for the Mi-34C1, as well as flight training.

14.11.2011 ROTORCRAFT OF RUSSIAN MAKE FORM FOUNDATION OF MIDDLE EAST AND NORTH AFRICA RESCUE AND FIREFIGHTING AVIATION

Dubai, UAE / 14 November 2011 – Light and medium class rotorcraft of Russian make, namely the Mi-34C1, Ansat, Ka-226T, Ka-32A11BC, Mi-171A2, and Mi-38, may become the best options for forming the rescue and firefighting aviation in the Middle East and North Africa. 14.11.2011 NEW HEIGHT OF SAFETY WITH NEW KA-226T ENGINE CERTIFIED BY EASA

Dubai (UAE) / 14 November 2011 – The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has certified the Arrius 2G1 turboshaft engine made by French company Turbomeca (Safran Group), installed on the Russian light Ka-226T helicopter. Engine certification achieved end-October 2011 allows mass operation of the engine and remains an important milestone in the multi-role Ka-226T helicopter programme.

10.11.2011 RUSSIAN HELICOPTERS 1H2011 REVENUE REACHED 42,4 BILLION RUBLES BY IFRS ACCOUNTS

Moscow/November, 10 2011 – According to 1H2011 consolidated audited financial results Russian Helicopters’ revenue reached 42,4 billion Rubles. The Company first time publishing its half year financial audited IFRS results. Operational profit amounted to 17,3 billion Rubles. The net profit of the Company almost reached 2,8 billion Rubles. And the EBITDA equaled to 6,7 billion Rubles with EBITDA margin indicator at the level of 16%.

08.11.2011 FIRST BATCH OF MI-17V-5 HELICOPTERS DELIVERED TO INDIA UNDER 80 UNITS ORDER

Kazan/8 November 2011 – The first batch of Mi-17V-5 helicopters have been delivered to the Indian side under the contract signed by Rosoboronexport, JSC in December 2008 during the visit to India of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.

25.10.2011 MI-171SH DELIVERIES TO PERU DEFENCE MINISTRY COMPLETED
Ulan-Ude/25 October 2011 – In September 2011 the second batch of 3 Mi-171Sh military transports was delivered to the Defence Ministry of Peru under a contract signed by Rosoboronexport, JSC in 2010 for the delivery of 6 Mi-171Sh helicopters.

25.10.2011 CHINA STARTS BUYING FIREFIGHTING KA-32A11BC ROTORCRAFT
Ordos, PRC/24 October 2011 – Russian Helicopters holding company, a part of United Industrial Corporation Oboronprom, and the Chief Administration for the social security of Ordos City (China, Inner Mongolia) have signed a contract for the delivery of a civil all-weather multi-role coaxial Ka-32A11BC helicopter in its firefighting variant. The helicopter is equipped with the Simplex firefighting system, horizontal water cannon, and VSU-5 water-dumping system.

03.10.2011 RUSSIAN HELICOPTERS REFORM ACQUISITIONS TO BENEFIT SUBSIDIARIES AND SUPPLIERS

Moscow/3 October 2011 – Russian Helicopters, the holding company controlling the Russian rotorcraft industry assets and a subsidiary of United Industrial Corporation Oboronprom, has started reforming its acquisition activities, including the processes leading to the rendering of services, delivery of equipment, materials, parts, and units – everything necessary for the business of the holding company. The reform is carried on in two major directions: centralization of key unit and component purchases (purchased component goods) both for mass-produced models and those in development, and an introduction of an electronic trading system for the acquisition of services, equipment, materials, parts, and units for production needs.

14.09.2011 HIGH FLY ENERGY: IDGC HOLDING AND RUSSIAN HELICOPTERS ENTER INTO PARTNERSHIP

On 14 September in Moscow IDGC Holding and Russian Helicopters entered into an Agreement of Cooperation. The document was signed by Nikolay Shvets, Director General of IDGC Holding, and Dmitry Petrov, Director General of Russian Helicopters, JSC.

30.08.2011 UTAIR CONFIRMS A PLANNED ORDER OF 20 AW139 HELICOPTERS

During MAKS-2011 air show UTair Aviation (the largest helicopter operator in Russia and one of the largest in the world), Russian Helicopters (subsidiary of JSC UIC Oboronprom, part of Russian Technologies State Corporation) and AgustaWestland (a Finmeccanica company) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for a planned order of 20 AW139 helicopters to be assembled in Russia.

Moscow/16 August 2011 – Russian Helicopters, the industry holding and a subsidiary of UIC Oboronprom, has showcased its diverse lineup including the new light Mi-34C1, Ka-226T, Mi-38, and Mi-26T2 at the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS 2011. Those and other civil rotorcraft of Russian make, including the attack Mi-28NE Night Hunter and the Ka-52 Alligator will be shown at MAKS in Zhukovsky at the static display of Russian Helicopters and in pavilion C3 at the UIC Oboronprom stand.

15.08.2011 RUSSIAN HELICOPTERS: SECOND OPERATORS CONFERENCE IN MOSCOW

Moscow/15 August 2011 – The Second International Operators Conference (IOC) opened its doors to companies operating rotorcraft of Russian make today at the Moscow World Trade Centre. The conference is organised by Russian Helicopters, a subsidiary of United Industrial Corporation Oboronprom. The event is an element in the holding company’s strategy for creating a global multi-level aftersale support network for helicopters produced in Russia. 

11.08.2011 RUSSIAN HELICOPTERS DAY TO OPEN MAKS 2011

Moscow/12 August 2011 – 16 August,the first day of the milestone 10th International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS 2011, will be marked as Russian Helicopters Day, dedicated to the Russian rotorcraft industry corporation that is a subsidiary of the United Industrial Corporation Oboronprom. Airshow visitors will see modern light Mi-34C1, Ka-226T, and Ansat, medium Ka-32A11BC, the new modernised ultra-heavy Mi-26T2, and the attack Ka-52 Alligator, Mi-28NE Night Hunter, and other rotorcraft at the static display and in the sky above the exposition.
